In Arc Raiders, Prickly Pears are a Nature item used for stamina and, more importantly, for upgrading Scrappy the Rooster (you need 6 for certain upgrades). They spawn around cactus plants on specific maps — but the spawn is random and relatively rare, so you'll likely need multiple raid runs to collect enough.
Best Places to Find Prickly Pears
1. Buried City (especially southern edge)
- The southern area of the map has dense cactus patches.
- This is generally considered the best overall spot for finding Prickly Pears because of the higher cactus concentration.
2. Dam Battleground (multiple cactus clusters)
- Northern area: Left of the Power Generation Complex, near an extraction zone.
- Southern area: Beside the Research & Administration region, also close to extraction.
- Both spots have cactus clusters where Prickly Pears can spawn.
Tips for Farming Prickly Pears
- Look around cactus plants: Prickly Pear fruits spawn on the ground around cacti — always check the base of cacti you find during a raid.
- Spawn is random: Not every cactus will have a pear, so multiple runs may be needed.
- Check any cactus you come across during a raid; even small groups can yield a pear.
- Use a safety pocket: This helps you keep any Prickly Pears you find even if you don't successfully extract.
- Lush Blooms events (if active) can increase nature item spawns in some runs.
Fast Prickly Pear Farming Route
Route 1: Buried City (Best Overall)
- Spawn in → head south immediately
Move toward the southern edge of Buried City where cactus density is highest. - Sweep cactus clusters only
Don't loot buildings. Run from cactus to cactus and check the ground at the base. - Use Safety Pocket
Store any Prickly Pear as soon as you find one. - Extract early
Once you get 1–2 pears, extract and reset. This saves time and reduces risk.

Route 2: Dam Battleground (Backup Route)
- North path
Go left of the Power Generation Complex, near the extraction zone. - South path
Check cactus groups near Research & Administration. - Quick decision
If no pears after checking both clusters, extract and re-queue.
