Khatal's Geyser is a unique Lapis Amulet. It is a new PoE Mirage 3.28 unique item. Requires Level 56 +(20—30) to Intelligence Can't use Life Flasks +(55—70) to maximum Mana Increases and Reductions to Effect of Flasks applied to you also applies to Effect of Arcane Surge on you at (200—250)% of their value You have Arcane Surge during Effect of any Mana Flask Mana Flask Effects are not removed when Unreserved Mana is Filled Mana Flask Effects do not Queue (Arcane Surge grants 20% increased Cast Speed and 30% increased Mana Regeneration rate, for 4 seconds) Flavour Text: "In a time of great need, the tale-man sacrificed his very body to bring forth the waters of victory and salvation."

Arcane Surge

Arcane Surge is a buff that grants bonus cast speed and mana regeneration. Arcane Surge lasts 4 seconds by default.

• 20% increased Cast Speed
• 30% increased Mana Regeneration Rate

The buff does not stack. Gaining Arcane Surge while you already have the buff will refresh its duration.

• Obtained by using a Coin of Restoration on Khatal's Weeping.

Acquiring a Coin of Restoration by slaying monsters in Mirages allows any unique obtained from the Afarud to be transformed into its Maraketh counterpart. Its glorious original form. Fleshrender, for example, transforms into Skysunder: the original Maraketh blade that radiates with the glowing heat of the desert sun. When you ignite monsters, Skysunder reflects that ignite back to you, which proliferates to nearby enemies in a massive area.

The Core Mechanic: Arcane Surge Scaling

Standard Arcane Surge gives 10% More Spell Damage and 30% increased Mana Regeneration. With this amulet:

• Flask Effect Scaling: If you have 50% increased Flask Effect (common for Pathfinders or through the passive tree), it applies to Arcane Surge at 210% value.
• The Math: 50% times 2.1 = 105% increased effect of Arcane Surge.
• Result: Your Arcane Surge would grant 20.5% More Spell Damage and 61.5% increased Mana Regeneration.

End-game Utility: "Over-leech" for Mana

The mod "Mana Flask Effects are not removed when Unreserved Mana is Filled" is essentially the mana version of the Brutal Fervour (Slayer) or Indigon style play.

• This allows for 100% uptime on your Mana Flask's recovery and the Arcane Surge buff.
• Since effects "do not Queue," you cannot stack multiple flasks to last forever; you must manually manage the flask press, but the recovery is constant and immediate.

Synergies & Build Strategies

1. Archmage Support (The Obvious Choice)

Since Archmage builds scale damage based on their maximum mana and benefit heavily from mana recovery, this amulet is "Best-in-Slot" (BiS) for that archetype. It solves the sustain issues usually associated with high-cost spells.

2. The Mind Over Matter (MoM) Defense

Because your mana recovery never stops (even at full mana), you have a "Geyser" of resources constantly refilling your mana pool as you take damage. This makes you incredibly tanky against "chip damage" and small hits.

3. Pathfinder Casters

Pathfinder is the queen of Flask Effect. Combining the "Nature's Reprisal" or "Master Surgeon" nodes with this amulet would push the Arcane Surge scaling to absurd levels, likely reaching over 30% More Spell Damage from a single buff.

Strategic Trade-offs

• No Life Flasks: This is a massive defensive penalty. You must rely on Energy Shield Leech, Life Leech, or Regeneration to stay alive. Most players using this will likely transition to a Chaos Inoculation (CI) or Low Life (Ivory Tower) setup.
• Socket Pressure: You will need to find a way to trigger or maintain Mana Flask charges, likely requiring "Flask Charges gained" mods on your belt or precision timing.
